IT equipment supply and installation in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

Federal departments, head offices and technology companies across the twin cities — on a regular route from our Malakand base, roughly three hours away.

Islamabad and Rawalpindi are the most competitive market we operate in, and we do not pretend to be the only credible option there. The twin cities have an established supplier base — corporate procurement specialists, network and security contractors, national distributors — and a buyer here has genuine choice in a way that a buyer in Bannu does not.

What we bring is a particular combination rather than a geographic advantage. Very few suppliers in the twin cities will quote the IT equipment, the network it runs on, the surveillance and the solar as one project with one accountable party, and fewer still will survey all of it in a single visit. For a business evaluating an office refresh and a solar installation in the same budget cycle — which, with commercial tariffs past PKR 48 per unit, is now most businesses — that consolidation is worth more than a marginal unit price.

Practically, the twin cities are around two hours from our base, and we run the route regularly. That is close enough for same-week surveys and for installation crews to work consecutive days on site, without the overhead of maintaining a second office that would ultimately show up in pricing.

Response expectation in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Roughly three hours from our Malakand base on a route we run regularly. Surveys are typically available within the same week, with installation crews scheduled for consecutive days on site rather than single visits.

Local Demand

Who buys from us in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

The sectors that actually drive equipment demand in this area, and what each of them needs.

Federal government and authorities

Ministries, federal departments and regulatory authorities procuring under PPRA rules, with tender documentation demands as exacting as any sector.

Corporate head offices

National companies headquartered in the capital, typically driving standardised multi-site rollouts rather than single-site purchases.

Technology and software services

A dense software and BPO sector expanding with Pakistan’s IT services exports, driving demand for workstations, networking and reliable power.

Private education and healthcare

Private universities, schools and hospitals across both cities investing in classroom technology, clinical workstations and surveillance.

Development sector and NGOs

International organisations and programme offices with rigorous procurement documentation and asset-tracking requirements.

Local Realities

What buyers in Islamabad & Rawalpindi run into

Specific to this area — what happens, what it costs, and how we handle it differently.

01

Four suppliers for one office project

Delivery reality

A business fitting out or refreshing an office engages separate suppliers for equipment, cabling, surveillance and power, each surveying separately and each accountable only for their own scope.

The trust problem

When something does not work at the boundary between two scopes — cameras on a network somebody else installed, equipment on power somebody else specified — each supplier reasonably points at the other.

What we do

One survey covering equipment, network, surveillance and power, quoted as one project with one accountable party and one documentation set covering the whole installation.

02

Federal tender documentation demands

Delivery reality

Federal procurement carries exacting documentation requirements, and suppliers who deliver competent equipment frequently produce compliance paperwork weeks late or not at all.

The trust problem

The procurement officer cannot close the audit file and has limited recourse once payment has been processed.

What we do

Line-by-line compliance response at bid stage, and challan, GST invoice, warranty certificates and serial listing delivered with the consignment rather than on request.

03

Solar quoted without regard to the IT it powers

Delivery reality

A solar contractor sizes and installs an array competently, and nobody checks how the servers, recorders and network equipment behave through a grid-to-inverter transfer.

The trust problem

Equipment begins rebooting on switchover, the cause is not obvious, and the business attributes it to the IT rather than to the power installation.

What we do

Because we supply both, we test transfer behaviour against your actual IT equipment during commissioning and resolve any mismatch with protected power on the critical branch.

Questions

Supplying Islamabad & Rawalpindi — common questions

You are based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — can you realistically serve Islamabad?

Yes, and we would rather set the expectation accurately than oversell it. The twin cities are around three hours away on a route we run regularly, which is close enough for same-week surveys and for installation crews to work consecutive days on site. What we do not offer is the twenty-minute emergency response that a supplier with an office in Blue Area can. If your requirement is a support arrangement with a same-day on-site guarantee, that is a fair reason to choose someone local, and we will tell you so rather than agreeing to terms we cannot reliably meet.

What makes you different from the established twin-cities suppliers?

Scope rather than geography. Most suppliers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are strong in one domain — corporate procurement, or networking and security, or solar — and will subcontract or decline the rest. We survey and quote the IT equipment, the network, the surveillance and the power in one visit, as one project, with one party accountable for the interfaces between them. For a straightforward single-category purchase, an established local specialist may well serve you better, and that is a reasonable choice.

Do you supply against federal government tenders?

Yes. Federal procurement operates under PPRA rules with documentation requirements at least as demanding as provincial processes, and we prepare line-by-line compliance responses with manufacturer specification sheets supporting any proposed equivalent. Where a BOQ specifies equipment that has since been discontinued — which is extremely common given the time between drafting and evaluation — we quote the equivalent with written justification rather than either claiming compliance we cannot support or declining to bid.

Can you handle a rollout across both Islamabad and Rawalpindi sites?

Yes, and multi-site work is where the consolidation genuinely pays. We build to one documented standard across sites — the same machine image, the same network configuration and labelling scheme, the same camera position logic, the same documentation format — so your support function is not learning each location individually. Per-site surveys capture only genuine variances, and delivery is scheduled per location with signed confirmation from each against one central invoice.
